Drown in the Dust

Look outside, see the trees,
watch the flowers in the breeze.
Things won't be like this in a year or two.
Watching smoke stacks choke the sky
and can't do anything to clean it all.
I despair and fear because I care
about what we breathe in from the air.
I look to the sky and I can't clearly see
the glorious sun beaming down on me
because putrescent dirts rise
in impressive disgusting mountains.
I THERE ARE SOLUTIONS TO SAVE EARTH FROM POLLUTION
NEW RESOLUTIONS.
Acid has become our rain
and oceans with mercury do we stain.
Filthy flowers of plastic bags
bloom on the dirty river sides.
I All sea life destined to a slow awful doom
are these the things we are consuming?
I just can't help but wonder why
the polluting is all we do.
